About the survey
Training and development of staff is vital to the smooth operation of any organisation but are staff, and particularly South African IT staff, getting sufficient training from their employers?
As a result, Foster-Melliar* in partnership with ITWeb conducted a survey to find out:
| 1) | If organisations compile and implement workplace skills plans for their IT staff. |
| 2) | What training courses are most needed by IT staff. |
| 3) | How often IT staff are given training. |
| 4) | What factors are most important to organisations when appointing a training service provider. |
The 2012 IT Training Survey was run online on ITWeb for a period of two weeks, from 13 February to 26 February.
